“I had such an amazing time on my first camp that I returned for the next four years – basically until they told me I was too old! It was without doubt one of the best experiences of my life.``
“I’m just really excited to welcome every junior to mypro™ in St Andrews – it’s really such a special town and I know they’ll have the most fantastic week here!”
With experience developing junior and adult coaching programmes in Edinburgh, Scotland and Houston, Texas, Jamie’s knowledge and enthusiasm for coaching junior golf is invaluable. He has a proven track record working with golfers of all levels and draws on his professional and competitive experiences to create a training environment that ensures maximum player and skill development.
“Even when growing up in Scotland, surrounded by golf, it’s clear that St Andrews is a truly special place. The atmosphere in the town, combined with the rich golfing history makes it a magical place like no other”
Prior to turning pro in 2009, he worked for 3 years at Applied Golf Technology in St Andrews where he specialised in custom fitting using Doppler Radar systems like Trackman. He joined Mypro Golf after 6 years working at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick where for the last 3 years he has held the role Head of Instruction.
Always at the forefront of coaching technology, Ross is a true golf enthusiast, who brings a welcome excitement and energy to all his lessons. With an expert understanding of equipment technology and how this combines with swing technique to help players reach their full potential, Ross is an invaluable member of the team at MyPro Golf.
“I've been playing golf since I can remember and I love helping junior golfers getting as much from this game as I have. It can offer some amazing opportunities that you could never imagine!”
“I love every moment I get to spend in St Andrews. It’s great to see our returning juniors each summer and to share a summer of golf and fun together. There’s no place I’d rather be.”
“I visited St Andrews for the first time in 2009 when I was at junior golf camp. Since then I have fallen in love with this place and managed to come back 16 times. This is a place to make memories for a lifetime.``
