Golf Camp Programme
What does a typical day at golf camp look like?
Mornings focus on PGA coaching with video and TrackMan analysis, while afternoons are dedicated to 18 holes on championship courses. Evenings include supervised activities and time to relax.
Which courses do the juniors play?
Campers play only the best championship courses in and around St Andrews, such as The Duke’s, Dumbarnie Links, and Fairmont St Andrews. Course selection may vary weekly.
What other activities are organised during the golf camp?
Outside golf, juniors enjoy football, beach games, dodgeball, movie nights, and ping-pong. During the Open Camp, we also visit the Genesis Scottish Open.
Who coaches the juniors?
All coaching is delivered by fully qualified PGA Professionals. Our pros use advanced technology, small group sessions, and one-to-one support to help juniors improve quickly.
Booking a Golf Camp
How do I book a junior golf camp?
You can book by completing our online registration form. Once submitted, our team will confirm your child’s place and send payment details for their junior golf camp in St Andrews or Portugal.
What is the application deadline?
There’s no fixed deadline, but our junior golf camps fill up quickly. We recommend booking early to secure your preferred week.
Is there any discount?
Yes. We offer a 10% discount for multi-junior bookings or multi-week bookings, making it easier for families to join our golf camps.
Travelling to St Andrews
Are flights included in the price?
Flights are not included in the golf camp fee. Parents must book flights separately, but we’re always happy to advise.
Which airport should my child fly to?
To attend our summer junior golf camps in St Andrews, the airport to fly to is Edinburgh Airport.
To attend our Easter golf camp at Quinta do Lago, the airport to fly to is Faro Airport.
Can my child travel alone?
Yes. Our staff meet juniors at the airport on arrival day and organise transfers to/from campus. Under -16s may need to use their airline’s Unaccompanied Minor Service.
I can't find a flight that fits your guidelines. How can you help?
If flight times don’t match our transfer schedule, contact us and we’ll help you find a solution, including private transfer options if needed.
Staying at Mypro Golf Camp
What is the recommended length of stay?
Most juniors choose two weeks, which gives the best balance of golf training and fun. A one-week camp still offers a full experience of St Andrews.
My child has never played golf. Can they attend the golf camp?
Our camps are for juniors with on-course experience. We recommend a golf handicap or ability to play 18 holes, as every day includes a full round.
What if my child doesn't speak much English?
Basic English is encouraged, but our multi-lingual staff support juniors throughout the week. This helps them follow coaching and make new friends.
What should my child bring to golf camp?
Juniors need their golf clubs, shoes, and clothing suitable for all weather. A full packing list is provided after booking.
How can I get in touch with my child while they're at camp?
Juniors have Wi-Fi access to contact family. Parents may also call our staff, who will connect them with their child outside golf activities.

What are the age limits?
We welcome boys and girls aged 10–17 with on-course golf experience.
Are there many girls attending the camp?
Yes. While boys usually outnumber girls, we always have a strong group — around 1 in 5 campers are girls — and they’re warmly welcomed.
Where do the campers stay?
In St Andrews, juniors stay in University residences with 24/7 supervision. At Easter, they stay at the Magnolia Hotel in Quinta do Lago.
Can friends or siblings share a room?
We do our best to accommodate requests for friends or siblings to room together, though it can’t always be guaranteed.
Safety at Camp
What about the safety of my child?
Safety is our top priority. Juniors are supervised 24/7 by trained staff, and St Andrews and Quinta do Lago are safe, welcoming places.
Who is supervising my child whilst they play golf?
Campers are always accompanied by PGA coaches and trained staff, all PVG-checked and first-aid certified.
Do juniors need insurance?
Yes. We strongly recommend all juniors to have travel and medical insurance covering golf and international travel.
